Thanks for making all these videos, I love them all!!
Спасибо Вам большое за такое нежное отношение к творчеству Кандинского!
Peppiatt stated: "I didn't dare go and knock." But why not? Why couldn't Peppiatt just go and knock on Giacometti's door and talk to him? I was looking at my most recent sculptures and it was obvious thatt hey were far superior to the scupltures of Giacomewtti which are so embarrassingly bad, and no one really likes them, but art critics have to pretend to becuase they are obliged to just as they pretend to lioke de Kooning becuase they are obliged to. I am still waiting for Peppiatt to knock on my door but I don't think he dare knock: but it is his loss, not mine
Great documentary 👏
An true visionary. Thanks for the upload. ❤

Henri, why didn't you quit while you were ahead, say in 1920. Those uncreative Walmart designs at the end of your career go on your permanent record, you know, and drag your overall grade down to a B+
Narration is dripping with affectational pretentiousness peppered with unctuous revelation
why does this guy pronounce Miró's surname in French and Barcelona in Spanish? 😅
All this ... very depressing. Jesus the only way to heaven.
I enjoyed this immensely and learned so much. Thank you! ♥️
It was very detail oriented and impressive explanation about Giacometti's master pieces.
based
Don't tell me "Dali is a genius." Show me "Dali was a genius." Others have him labeled as a "nut job with talent" as well. In any case, I don't need anyone to think for me. Thanks for the video
Not art
Dada means nothing at all!
The sun is a fried egg
Literally no one has ever thought like Dali. Explosively creative.
I think that he enabled artists to have more freedom to be creative in their paintings. The use of black is a background colour, however it is also black space as a visual element itself. Kandinsky seemed to move from the representative to the geometric compositions of the more abstract kind. He seemed to think of colour as music and using it to describe colour tones as a top note in a composition. This is most important as it is beyond words. Painting is a language and we use another mode of expression to describe it.
Thank you for your precious doc!!! 💕
Dali was an admirer of painter Diego Velázquez, which is understandable.
He reinvented himself. Bold
Why do they insist on pronouncing Van Gogh as Van Go … I can’t continue after hearing that as it is so hostile and ignorant it makes me think what else is this person being so horrible about.
One should be able to forgive such errors in pursuit of a larger goal.
Vincent was misunderstood when he was alive , now he’s mispronounced when dead… the poor bastard can never win.
Preciso de uma tradução sobre uma pintura dele .

A horrid little man who constantly repeated himself Nothing of note here Creepy world Creepy people.
Great video, thx for sharing! 39:00 min.... the 1920s art he's more known for. 41:00 Composition 8 (1923) 43:40 min Yellow Red Blue (1925) 47:00 min Hard but Soft (1927) and; On Points (1928) 50:30 Composition 10 (1939) Reciprocal Accord (1952)
Good Stuff ..
No doubt, he is the greatest surrealist of all time. We are fortunate to witness his art.
He really didn’t belong to any specific movement. Which means why he seemed to bounce around styles!
The painting shown for "In the grey" at 37:16 is actually "white line" (1920)
Music is so loud - could you please lower volume
can hardly hear the voiceover 😿
Excellent and beautiful thanks
What a load of American bollocks !
👍
He got married then abandoned his wife to move to Munich?
WoW!!! My 89th years!!! Can you believe it, my 89th years!!! My interest in (visual) arts ended when I became a jewelry-model maker, by carving cow-horns, and ivory (while in Africa) which later became wax’s models for casting precious metals. Now, in retirement I’ve returned to my first-love, visual art. All praises to the Creat
Words are taken directly from a Taschen Art book about Miro, written by Janis Mink!!! Write your own analysis not someone else's. Or give credit. I did not see anything like that here. Disappointing.

I see a lot of yellows and blues, but one thing people I don’t think has seen is the Turquoise (Türkis - German) the yellows and blues seem to mix together to create Turquoise.
Great content, well done.
I believe the painting the narrator was referencing when talking about Dali's Inaugural Gooseflesh is titled Honey Is Sweeter Than Blood.... not Blood Is Sweeter.
The metaphysical lucidity alone is enough.
